Sorry I have been gone for so long everyone. Its been a crazy 9-months(ish). I am just gonna try to hit the bullet points to fill you in on whats been happening:
Previously on Ryan:
- At General Council last year the Holy Spirit confirmed very sternly what he had been speaking to my heart for months that I was supposed to leave Royal Rangers, move back to Houston, TX, and plant a church. This is a huge step for me because I have never been a lead pastor before, I am young and single, and I love Royal Rangers. Nevertheless, you do what Jesus tells you to do.
- In February our church plant was approved.
- In March we told the Royal Rangers across the country I was leaving. Royal Rangers are some of the best guys anywhere, and they have been extremely gracious and supportive of this move.
- In March, I was also approved for a weight loss surgery. On, as it stands now, June 7 I will be having a procedure known as sleeve gastrectomy. For further information on this procedure, visit http://tinyurl.com/2g24l9a
- The church plant team has been coming together. Currently there are eight of us, with others who have expressed interest.
- August 20th will be my last day at Royal Rangers, and I am planning on moving the next day. August 24 is my sister’s birthday, and I would like to be there for that.
